Man, I am so looking forward to the TUF finale. Schonover vs. McSweeney, Mitrione vs. Jones, and Slice vs. Alexander.

It should be a night of great fights.

Following TUF on Wednesday night the UFC confirmed that Kimbo Slice will be fighting Houston Alexander on Saturday, December 5th at the live TUF finale. We're looking forward to the great stand up war that many people are predicting!

We watched the final episode of The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 last night and man, what a show it was! Here are some highlights.

Kimbo Declined a Second Fight

Our prediction was correct, and Kimbo was indeed offered a second opportunity to fight for the coveted UFC contract but he turned it down, wanting to give his injured knee more time to recover.

James McSweeny has Skills

Shivers vs. McSweeney, to put it politely, was not the greatest fight ever shown on TUF. Both fighters gassed early, and McSweeney's much touted stand up game looked pretty weak. McSweeney vs. Mitrione was a much better fight, with McSweeney winning by submission.

James McSweeney is a Dick

TUF keeps dangling the carrot over and over, so it's only natural that people want to know whether Kimbo will be fighting again on TUF. It's our own opinion that what will happen is Kimbo will be offered an opportunity at taking another fight but he'll turn it down because of his injured knee, not wanting to take the opportunity away from someone else who will be able to take a second fight at 100% and have a greater chance of winning.

If this is what happens Kimbo will end up earning even more respect from the MMA community, and it's a great excuse for the UFC to give him his opportunity to fight at the TUF finale.
